Yoga

Be at ease in your body - the home of your spirit

Yoga, which is derived from the sacred Sanskrit language of India over 5,000 years ago, means the union of mind, body and breath; union of inner and outer consciousness; spirit and matter.

YogaToday's society is much faster paced that ever before. People are more stressed which leads to health problems;
mental and physical. There is simply no other discipline quite like yoga because it utilises the body, mind and spirit, which leads to a more purposeful and balanced life.

Lindsay very much believes Yoga is a practice and not an outcome and continues to study throughout the UK and India. Her teaching style is Vinyasa Flow which links conscious movement with breath awareness; the breath leads the body from one pose to the next creating meditation in motion.

Body Balance

Body Balance is a revolution in mind-body training. Age-old Eastern disciplines like Yoga and Tai Chi are combined with popular new methods such as Pilates and Feldenkrais, to help bring the body into a state of harmony and balance.

“I always look forward to Lindsay’s class. Her quiet confidence and cheerful disposition are her strengths in inspiring the class to achieve the maximum result. There’s a good mixture of routine, keeping interest and energy level high. Great Class!”
