Last week, my son and I were discussing conflict and what it really means. He said, “Mama, imagine there’s a number nine on the floor between us. You’d see a nine, but I’d see a six, because we’re looking from different perspectives. That’s all conflict is!”

How wise is he? His words struck me—so simple, yet so profound. 🥰

I’m learning that our perspectives are shaped by past experiences, but to create new perspectives, we need to feel into the present moment… into the zero, into the feminine. This space is where new experiences, thoughts, and feelings can be birthed. From here, I’m beginning to see it’s not just a six or a nine; it’s a spiral that invites us to slow down, breathe, and listen so we can find new answers.

When we find ourselves in conflict—whether it’s between loved ones or on a larger scale, like in politics or war—true understanding begins when we move towards honoring each other’s perspectives. By stepping into the spiral together, we create a path to new solutions and deeper connection. ✨🌀✨

Unlock Your Inner World Through Collage

I’d like to introduce you to my friend @karensmithhealthiness. She first introduced me to the practice of collage for visual journaling and it has since become a powerful tool for my self-discovery and manifestation. Recently, she ran a session at @yogafitretreats where our guests got to experience this beautiful practice while sipping blue lotus tea—perfect for opening up your creative flow. Through collage-making, I engage with my subconscious mind, bringing forward deep emotions, desires, and truths that words often cannot express. It’s a fun and playful way to see myself more deeply and connect with my intentions.

What makes Karen’s sessions even more special is her integration of astrology, creating collages during a new moon or a full moon to harness the unique energy they bring. This astrological focus adds a deeper dimension to the practice, aligning it with the natural rhythms of transformation and release. 🌙✨

Each collage becomes a mirror, speaking in layers and revealing deeper insights that guide me to align with what I wish to embody in my life. It’s a sacred space of exploration and empowerment, a tool for understanding my inner world and manifesting the reality I want to step into.

I’m so grateful to Karen and the joy that this practice brings—especially when we do it together, listening to music. Collage-making is such an inward journey, yet it also creates connection and sisterhood. It’s so much fun, and I recommend this practice to everyone to give it a go. I haven’t had much time to share on here—I’ve been spending more time being present with our guests, leading classes, and managing our big, beautiful team. We’re having such a special time, and I wanted to share a few of my favorite moments with you all.

Our Orgasmic Flow Dance Meditation on a secret beach with 80 women was incredibly empowering.

The floating sound bath has been a guest favorite, creating deep relaxation and connection.

Singing with Nuno for our first-ever Kirtan on the main stage dropped us into our hearts, as we witnessed our guests truly experience the magic of Bhakti yoga.

Our Ibiza anthems shakedown workout was our busiest class of the retreat, and the energy was absolutely incredible!

Each Flow Dance Meditation session has been deeply moving, with more and more people trying this powerful practice and feeling its magic.

Healing My Inner Masculine 💫

Lately, I’ve been deepening my connection with my inner masculine, recognizing how this energy gives me the strength to protect myself and create safety in my life. I’ve come to recognize how my masculine wound, rooted in experiences of sexual abuse and abandonment, caused me to fear the masculine in the external world. In response, I unconsciously suppressed and rejected my own inner masculine, cutting myself off from essential traits like assertiveness, boundaries, order, and structure. It was only recently that I became conscious of how this rejection had been a blind spot in my healing journey. ❤️‍🩹

I’m working with a @flowdancemeditation practice that is reconnecting me with my inner masculine, bringing more balance, clarity, and protection back into my life and deepening my connection to my Divine Masculine energy —my truth, light, and integrity which feels so beautiful and empowering 🙏🏼

As the book ‘Healing the Masculine Soul’ teaches, “wounded masculinity arises from a place of control, dominance, and fear, while healthy masculinity is rooted in protection, clarity, and integrity.”

I’m curious to see as I heal this wound within myself, how the reflection of masculine energy around me will evolve too. 🪞

And this leads me to zoom out and reflect on the masculine wound, so visible in our traumatized world, full of conflict, greed, and the pursuit of power. I hope and pray that it may heal and go from a place of control and dominance to one of protection and holding space for others. 💫✨

Yesterday I got to experience the mesmerizing art of @alexgreycosm and @allysongreycosm—now exhibited in London as part of the @lllusionaries project.

For me, it was a dream come true to see their visionary art up close.

In this chaotic world, where true connection often feels fleeting, their art is a powerful reminder of the depth and beauty that lie within each of us.

I feel like sharing this little clip from the exhibition as a way of connecting with you all. May it inspire you to seek out those deeper connections, to feel more deeply, and to find the extraordinary in the everyday. At this moment, I feel a calling to embark on an inward pilgrimage to deepen my connection with both the divine feminine and divine masculine within me, creating a sacred union that resonates deeply in my soul. When this energy moves through me, I am filled with such an empowering sense of peace and wholeness.

Recently, I’ve been reading The Magdalen Manuscript, where it is shared that Mary Magdalene spent her final years in Wales. Inspired by this, I chose to celebrate my birthday this year with an intuitive pilgrimage alongside my beautiful soul sister, Sara, to connect more intimately with the energy of this land.

Our journey led us to explore the sacred waters in this area, uncovering the profound connection between these holy wells, springs, and the churches built upon sacred ground along ancient ley lines. It was magical to discover a well, feel its energy, and then witness the church that had been erected beside it, as if guarding and honoring this ancient source of life.

Water, a symbol of the divine feminine, is intimately connected to Mary Magdalene. This element represents the emotional currents that flow within us, offering the potential for deep healing and the capacity for profound transformation.

Am I being caring or controlling? 🤔

This is a question I am inquiring about within myself at the moment, especially when it comes to mothering my son.

When I hold him sometimes he feels like I’m controlling him. How can I go from controlling to simply holding him?

I feel like in an ideal world if we ‘care’ for someone, we will not get upset or angry with them, we will keep searching for different ways to help them.

I find that when I am struggling in any relationship, I need to closely observe if there is any subtle control hidden behind my apparent care.

Care is an expression of love while control is an expression of ego.
Control cuts, Care connects.
Control hurts, Care heals.
Caring for someone also includes trusting them. Controlling does not.

As a parent I find caring can turn into controlling so easily.

When they’re little you cannot trust them to make good choices because they haven’t always learned yet what a good choice is.

However, the more I tune into this, the more I realize that I CAN’T control him; all I can do is teach him to control himself. And this starts by me modeling this and controlling my self 💖

The inspiring @lrknost said;

Teaching our children to control themselves is far more effective than trying to control our children.

• Model, don’t manipulate.
• Lead, don’t intimidate.
• Support, don’t shame.
• Encourage, don’t threaten.
• Guide, don’t punish.
• Listen, don’t lecture.

This is a work in progress for me. 🙏🏼

This Friday, 5 July, we would like to invite you to join us on live on zoom.

At 8PM we will enjoy a Flow Dance Meditation practice together

The practice will be to celebrate the new moon in Cancer. We will take a journey into embodied astrology. Connecting with the continuous flow of feelings that remind us we are alive, through the energy of Cancer. This water sign can take us into deep parts of ourselves, as we feel into this nurturing and intuitive energy within us.

I rarely go onto Facebook these days, but this evening I had a little sneak peek and I saw a post from my dearest friend @jomichaelsdance saying it was 13 years ago that we won the World Record for the biggest ever Zumba Class!

I’m soooo grateful for all of these memories, we had so much fun! It’s been a long time since I’ve seen some of you, but I will hold you and these moments in my heart forever 🥰🙏💫
